The calves at Säby gård nurse their mothers for seven to ten months. Then they go into large boxes with a bed of straw and have free access to well-harvested organic hay/silage, preserved grass. From May to November, they graze freely on their natural pastures together with their mothers and thus help to keep nature open and full of biological diversity. Organic grass-fed animals produce meat with a fantastic taste and which is rich in the fatty acid Omega 3.
At Säby farm, natural and good animal husbandry is very important!
